Launch Dates Confirmed
Many thanks to everyone for their well wishes, following my recent confirmation of my up-and-coming double book publication. I am pleased to announce the launch dates have now been confirmed. Daydreams in Mermaid Grass, the fantasy collection of poetry based in the world of Bracken will be launched on the 13th October 2008, followed by Theodore in November, a collection of love poetry in time for Valentine’s Day on the 12th January 2009.
Work is under way to approve editing, and marketing for both books and I can only say how much I appreciate the support you have all shown me, needless to say the great encouragement I have received for my buddies at the Writers Café amongst others. I will keep you all posted on the steps as I take them towards completing the collections as finished articles.
The books have been signed with Jeremy Mills Publishing, and I can only say they have been exemplary in providing me with everything I require. I can say I have been a mother hen pecking away with a myriad of questions to ensure my two little chicks have the best!
Many of you have followed the birth of the Theodore in November collection since its conception, and taken a great interest in it. I can only promise great surprises in store as the collection is far larger than I originally hinted at! Daydreams in Mermaid Grass, completely unseen promises an undiscovered country to get your imagination going and I am very excited to see it completely finished and placed in your hands.
Once again, thanks for all your well wishes and promises to buy the books! Feel free to invite anyone who may be interested in joining my site, I have been asked permission for this and would like to make sure everyone is aware I have no issue with invites being sent out by you.
Keep writing,
Natalie

Well, a few months after completion of the poetry collections mentioned on my site: Theodore in November and Daydreams in Mermaid Grass, I have agreed publication and an offer.
Publication date is to be confirmed, but I am very excited to see the finished article!
A lot of time and personal creativity went into these works; I almost feel as if they are my children who now will be born to live their own lives. I finally am setting them free to explore your world!
The collection Theodore in November is a journey of love. It began with simple concepts of what my own idea of what love is, and evolved into what is love? And so I set about throwing myself into a journey from the beginning of such a love to the end, and all that could happen in between. The emotive language grabs hold of your soul and takes you on a whirlwind adventure; leaving you unable to be touched by the feelings the words create.
Daydreams in Mermaid Grass came about purely due to my own strange dreams. I often wake up in a cold sweat, wondering what worlds I have just dreamt myself into! And so I imagined what it would be like to dream completely. The language of the title is almost a caress; metaphorical for what a dream could feel like if you touched. Mermaid Grass came to mind. Did you really see that mermaid? Was it all a dream, a dream as soft as fresh green grass touching your skin? Sleep and read the collection with me.
Is time inevitable? Standing between minutes are moments are divisions where no thought or idea is alive or created.
Time takes so long to pass, but is it concrete, markable, defined?
Are our lives merely hourglasses, with drops of blood the sands we mark our days by?
